Dishonesty II

I had a whole concept from several months ago of a fictional character named "Dishonesty" who'd host the zine for a day. I kept the title around for the last issue but didn't follow up on the idea.

I said I was going to do a paid post next, and this ended up not being it. I suppose you might consider this a zine hijacking of sorts ^ . ^

ok. so. daphnis has a bunch of shows coming up.

you can go to those, if you so wish. additionally, you'll need to live in the richmond, virginia area or be willing to drive a long ways. this isn't relevant to people who don't live nearby, so i'm not sure why she foregrounds it so much in a zine that is sent across the world.

SHOW REPORT

daphnis has three music projects she's involved with right now. back in her twenties she decided "i can't do three projects at once anymore."

she has slipped back into doing three projects. she's now in middle-age and i guess if you don't got kids and you're divorced you gotta find something to do besides watch 90s anime hahaa.

ok that was a little mean sorry. ^^

the acts she's involved in are:

1. daphnis (vanilla Daphnis) is her solo project. it includes both noisy guitar music and DJing. i'm not sure why she didn't come up with different project names for this. vain.
2. HOLE ( ) CLUB is when she DJs with the homies Aaron and Rosie.
3. xbiologicalx is when she makes melodic emo noise with xriverx and xdaphnisx.

i include this because it cracked me up. dunkey annoys me and he also makes me laugh, like many internet video game clowns. dare i say we all need something to laugh about at this time in particular? i dare not. it is always a pleasure to laugh with the silly clowns.

osie - the neverending cycle of "locking in" (video, 2025)

i include this because youtubers are doing this thing where they have a title like "all this exists is this moment. then you die." shit like that. it's hard to imitate even. i'm pretty sure they spend a long time writing and rewriting these to hit that algorithm. one that got me recently by the title alone was i don't need a boyfriend.

osie, they actually say some stuff. some of it i am more interested in hearing than other parts. mostly i appreciate their insight.

they also have a cute name for their followers - bibblebonkskronkuli. which i'm like damn if you all had a name for people who follow doings of daphnis what would it be? idk did they come up with that one? who named them biblebonkskronkuli? cute.

daphnis vlogs

daphnis made a video in the vlog style. you can tell she is old because she declares that it is in the "vlog style." she thought that by making it unlisted it wouldn't end up in peoples' algorithms. it did, and they left comments. it was cute. i think.
